This highly distinctive species was named in honour of the late Art Vogel, former Curator of Leiden Botanic Gardens and a great enthusiast of carnivorous plants. The lower pitchers extremely long and tubular with the upper pitchers being uniquely shaped.

History:  First introduced in 2013.

Origin: Horticultural.

Source: A single selected clone, chosen for its exceptional vigour from out of 24 candidate clones.
